Hiking
In the summer months, every hiker will appreciate the connection of the regions of Horehronie, Poľana,Low Tatras, Muránska planina. There are several nature trails in the regions, such a Bear’s Path, which comes from the village of Krpáčovo. In Zbojská you can follow in the footsteps of the bandit Educational Trail of Jakub Surovec.You will discover the life of a famous artist on the Sam Chalupka Educational Trail, which begins in the memorial room of Samo Chalupka in Horná Lehota. Discovering the secrets of the forest will help you nature trail in Vydrova dolina, which is a part of the forestry museum. The unique ecosystem can be reached thanks to expeditions to the Dobroč prales.
For more active hikers wait the Low Tatras, Veporské vrchy and Poľana. Conquer the highest peak of the Low Tatras-Ďumbier. There are several routes to choose from, but the best known is the Trangoška-Chata M.R.Štefánika-Ďumbier route. You can use the cable cabine to make the climb easier which take you to Chopok, from where you get to Dumbier. No less known is the hill Kráľová hola which can be reached from the village of Telgrárt or Šumiac. You can walk through the most beautiful valley of the Low Tatras Vajkovského dolina, which ends with a 9m waterfall. The all-day hike during which you will discover the Vepor Mountains is a trail starting in the saddle of Zbojská all the way to Klenovský Vepor, where in the evening you can get over to Čierny Balog. During the hot summer, you can hide into the forest and discover the Predajnianske Waterfalls. You can reveal history as you climb up castleMuráň. Only an hour from the cottages are the remains of volcanic activity – Polana Mountains. A very nice walk leads to the Bystrá waterfalls.

Caves
You will have a unique experience of an unusual visit to the cave of Dead Bats, where you will temporarily become speleologists. Reservation ahead needed! Do not forget to visit Bystrianska cave only 18 km from the cottages.
Agritourism
Closer to animals, traditions of regions, getting to know the surrounding countryside from the horse’s back. Get to know the unique breed of Hucul horses, which also created the Hucul highway. You can also be closer to the horses thanks to Marek’s court. Children can get to know the local animals in the interactive Ajax farm. Other
In the village of Čierny Balog there are several unique pieces, but one of them is certainly the narrow-gauge forest railway Čiernohronská railway. Drive in the train, even through the football field. Another unique railway is theosteam rack railway Tisovec-Zbojska-Pohronská Polhora. Adrenaline can be recharged in the Košútka park on ZipWire – 451m long. In Košútka you can also find a rope park for small and large. If you like climbing trees, you can try another rope park in Táloch.
